Can I offset from Home position with this setup?

I have 6 total switches with my home and limit switches sharing a switch. I have it wired in series at Normally Closed. All the switches work when pressed but when I try to Ref All Home and get the each axis to come off the switch when they hit it, I get nothing. I have all switches to 1 input to leave the others open for other operations. Im not sure what Im doing wrong, I have home offset to 1.0000. Could the problem be in my wiring setup? Hope this is the in right section, Im stuck. any help appreciated

Home Offset sets the location of the switch. It doesn't cause any movement.
If you want it to move 1" off the switch, you'll need to add additional code to your homing script to do it.

What would be the best configuration with all Home and Limit switches wired this way? I must have something wrong in my configuration because while I was trying out one of the sample gcode programs(roadrunner) at one point the gantry came up to one of the Y-axis limit switches and it just kept going with the program. I did check the diagnostics tab and the Limit switch leds were going off so it did register, just didnt E-stop. (note, I did not have the soft limits on)
