    Drill cycle on Yasnac i80M control

    The control runs faster then the feed rate written. The code is as follows;
    T5 M6
    G80
    G20
    G17 G59 G80 G90
    S6000 M3
    G43 Z.12 H5
    G83X-7.25 Y- 3.45 Z-3.5 R.1 Q.625 F50.
    X-8.25
    X-9.25
    G80
    The control runs at about 200 IPM even though it shows 50 IPM. If I turn the feed over ride down to 10% it looks like it is running around 50 IPM.
    Does anyone know if the code is the problem, I tried changing it to G73 and it seems to run OK.

    My bad

    Your correct on both, I tried changing the G83 to a G81 to see if the rapid retract made it look faster then it was. To my suprise it is the retract that is causing the problem, and I believe there is a perameter to change this retract speed. Can anyone help me with this, the guy's at Yaskawa don't have a clue.
