    Gorton 3 Z

I need to make some pockets for inlays in stainless & nickel silver from .050 t0 .125 deep, do you think it can be done with a Gorton 3 Z pantograph, is it ridged enough for this ? it is tight and in great shape, I know there better things to do this with but this is easy to come by. Thanks

The 3Z is one beast of a machine and in my opinion well capable of the task.

(As I am sure you are well aware, when working with stainless coolant must be used to prevent any heat build up in the work piece else the working edge will harden and dull the cutter in no time).

    Tweakie.
CNC is only limited by our imagination.
