Sieg X1 belt drive plans needed

    Hello all

I'm looking for a shortcut to help me make a belt drive conversion for my little Sieg (Seig?) X1 mill, to replace the plastic gears.

It is probably not all that difficult to dissemble, measure and plan out a design, but I figured there must be people who have already done so.

Can anyone help me out with some plans or drawings?

    Much appreciated!

No drawings but pics and descriptions here for a couple belt drives I had bookmarked.

    Very nice pics, thank you.

I think those give some nice ideas, like having a timing pulley on the spindle too, so that a stepper can be used, to enable cnc tapping too.
