    Contouring Violating Surfaces

    Hello,

I am new to Cimatron. Can you set it so will automatically know where each surface is and not violate/ crash into the surfaces, even if I didn't select them, set any bounds or set check faces?

    Thanks in Advance,

    Hades

If there is a way to do this I have not found it yet. As far as I can tell if you don't
select them or define them as check surfaces basically Cimatron will not see them. If your maintenance is up to date I would give them a call and i'm sure you will get an answer right away.

    pick all surfaces by criteria

Just set up your template to pick all surfaces by criteria, probably by "entity type" would work best. The type to check would be "FACE".
