I should receive my A axis stepper driver board today and so I need to set up the motor in Mach3

The extruder is direct drive with just a gear pushing the filament.

Not really sure how to set this up since I don't have screws, pulleys or belted gears attached to the stepper.

1.75mm plastic filament gets pushed through a .3mm hole in the nozzle
Pushing filament with the stepper will be a very slow turning speed.
I am guessing that you only push 1 to 2 inches per minute???
Don't know for sure till I get-r-runnin

My test nema 23 motor specs are
1.8° /200 Steps Per Rev.
4-wire Bi-polar
Starting with the probotix side step driver.
For all my other axis I have the dip switch set to 1/8th steps.

On those 3 axis Mach3 motor tuning steps is set to 1600 initially
200 steps per rev x 8 = 1600 steps

I am looking for advice on setting up the A axis direct drive motor in Mach3 at very slow turning speeds
