    SX3 Spindle Control via Mach-3

    Following ideas I read from other members, I put a document together showing how I enabled SX3 Spindle Control via Mach-3 using relays. It's a simple method that also maintains full manual control. Attached is a pdf file with the steps I took to control the Spindle and also how I changed the motor pulley to gain RPM. A simple solution with minimal costs and doesn't require a new motor or new controller boards.

    It is too bad they did not make the controller for 240ac, the one I Analyzed, the motor is only running on half capable rpm due to the 120vac drive.

    Interesting. Thanks for sharing the information. I didn't even know Mach commands can be customized that way.
