    Short Stroke, 3 cyl turbo diesel

    I'd like to design this engine, but i have nooo idea where to start. Any suggestions? I'd like it to be biodiesel friendly

    Not sure if short stroke is the way to go, i think it burns slower than petrol and needs a high compression and long strong to extract its slow burning properties.
    Maybe read up a few of the new common rail motors, I could be way off the mark?

    Does that work on pre heating the fuel to make it more vaporous and explosive?

    Pretty sure it needs a good stroke length.
