We have a Tape Drill Mate Model T, We are having 1008 and Ps 585 alaRMS.
Control is fanuc 0MB 1991 vintage.
It is giving us 1008 belt slip alarms. The turret is not binding, the belt is very tight and the seperate encoder belt is tight . We have swapped the Spindle drive unit, the seperate encoder and the motor, no change.
If we take out 2 of 3 detent balls it will run ok. I suspect tht the following error for turret index parameter is set too low. but fanuc is not able to tell us which one it is.
I am almost positive it is in the 9000 parameters. The machine is able to Orient the spindle every time ok . It is only after that the indexing gears are meshed and it rotates that it fails .
If any one has a description of the spindle index parameters it would be great. They seem to be located from 9000 to 9200. Thwey are labeled like ex.
p 9150 is described as ERMSP possibly, error spindle moving spindle ?

i am also having same type of problem of alarm of 581 while commanding M19 in same machine. again requesting if someone has full text of 9000-9200 parameters.

Turret orientation Parameters are 9122 and 9140 in both parameters value should be same increasing or decreasing value will change the orientation angle.
