    New Project Started

Well Ive been lurking here for a couple years reading and learning but really never doing much about my desire to build a CNC, I recently received a CompuCarve that seems to work ok for 3D carving but I thought I might use it to build the parts for a Joe's 2K6.

Now being a complete newb to all things CNC other than a few weeks of carving on the CompuCarve, it seemed to me that I could build a less error prone machine using the CompuCarve.

I have started to build the X axis torsion box using the software they provide, I seem to be having a problem (go figure) with the CompuCarve feeding the board the wrong way. When it measure the board and starts to cut it feeds the board out of the machine instead of through the machine. Does anyone with some experience with these machines know what settings I'm missing here or am I going to have to buy another sheet of board and just deal with the fact that Im going to have to ruin a few boards until I figure it out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
