You could always use a tapered end mill to finish the wall of the pocket and put taper on it...

The degree of taper was asked just for the reason Al mentioned,a tapered endmill would be the way to go.Wayy faster.
Thanks, I am using V24, what I want to cut is the floor of the pocket, not the wall. Taper to start at 0 and taper to 1/2",like a dished seat, sorry for the mixup.

I got V23 and V25 so I did it in 23 so you could open it.I used default settings for the most part, but you should get idea. There are other ways too,let us know if that is what you are looking for.

""the size is not important, I just need to know how to set it up.""
I was going on that, thinking tool path.To use the words tapered and dished in the same same sentence is open to conflicting interpretation, you think?Radius and dish go better together.Either way tool path is what I was thinkin.
fair enough...
