Question What vinyl cutter to get?

    Hi

I am new to vinyl cutters and i am trying to help an small museum to buy one that they need to make diffrentes signs and so on.

The budget is around 200-300£ for an vinyl cutter kit setup with cutter, software some vinyl and what ever they need to begin doing the cutting.

I have looked around Ebay and some other places and there is so many models, some has an laser pointer and then there is software...

So dear forum can you please help me what will be the best vinyl cutter setups to select so this small museum get the best value for the money and gets the best setup for the money.

My location is Denmark(in EU) so it has to be with in this zone so we dont get extra taxs and shipping costs.

for now i am looking at the ones on ebay but there is so many

So what do you guys say, some good setups/starter kits to go for ?

With your limited budget, I would suggest a Redsail. I have one (marketed from a US company as there own brand) at work. It really does a pretty decent job for the price. Ours was ~$385u.s. with decent software and the stand.

    I wouldn't know..
My panther at home is servo controlled and was over 2K u.s.
The Roland we have at work was also ~2K

The redsail I have in my dept was the cheapest, but i have no complaints other than its much louder than the others since it has stepper motors.

    2k is to much.

For now i am hook on the LIYU VINYL CUTTER SC631E with the SignCUT.
The only issue for me is that the software is an 1 year limit version.
how the (beep beep beep) can it be that i buy some hardware and then the software only works for 1 year, think this can be an deal breaker.

but i am still looking, so there is still hope to find some thing better.

Re: What vinyl cutter to get?

    Dear Thomas,
I found a website on the Internet that will provide you with very good cutting plotters. They promote the new TC-Series. These devices cost a little more than what your budget is but they do their job just beautifuly. It is also very worth to invest a little more. And also this online shop is located in the EU(Germany).

Here is the Website(you can change the language in the upper right corner): https://www.plotter-city.com/schneid...t-vs-powercut/

Best regards and I hope that I was able to help you or even others!
