    Exclamation Memory board/battery alarm 4035

I have a OKUMA controller OSP700M. We just replaced the battery after we got a 4035 battery alarm. Long story short the Alarm is still on the screen and it has a new battery. So what should I be heading next in fixing this machine.

You need to get a 'battery connection floppy' from your local dealer. This disk resets the battery date timer.

Had this happen on LU25 osp 7000 not long ago, didn't get normal change battery warning, just alarm that battery was dead. Battery was good, only 2 years old.
Had battery reset disc but ended up having to reload software.

    Get

the battery change diskettes from your Okuma rep.
You will need three, one for Battery, one for System parameters and one for User parameters. the change procedure comes with the diskettes, about $100.00
