    Exclamation NC Meldas 320

Hi, I'm having some issues with a Mitsubishi Meldas M320LC-V NC controller (Serial number: 3V656270626) which is installed in a Citizen Cincom E16J double turret lathe. In the operator panel shows many alarms EX001 Thermal, 002 Fuse, 003 Main Spindle, 004 Back Spindle, etc. I checked the wiring all around the machine looking for any shortcircuit but it's all OK. The machine is in an Hold Emergency State without the E-Stop pushed (the state cannot be changed). I checked the R69 DIAGN parameter and the bit E is in 0 (suppose the error is EMERGENCY STOP OUTPUT BASED ON PLC SOFTWARE).

I dont know how to fix this problem, either if it is a hardware or softare problem.

    Thanks

The MC311 was not connected correctly. I fixed the problem and the machine started with no alarms.

Now, I'm facing another problem when I try to run the spindle and back spindle with M3 and M23. The panel throws EX117 MAIN SPINDLE RPM ALARM y EX118 BACK SPINDLE RPM ALARM, which is very strange because I can easily move the axis and tool turrets.

Any advice is welcome (the drives of the spindles are FREQROL Z200).

    Best regards,

Does the spindle even try to rotate?? If not, maybe the Z200 drive is not getting the run signal.

The MC311 had a problem. One of the IC's was burnt (strange, because all the capacitors and transistors were OK). It was replaced and now the machine is running.

How did I figure it out the problem was in the MC311? In the NC, there was another MC311, I switched them and the problem changed (all the panel lights were turned on).
