    ES-L6 Alarm D MCS resolver

    lathe ES-L6 II control OSP-U10L
    871-20 alarm D MCS resolver
    in the spindle drive appears 18

    i have changed the motor and the machine run ok
    the problem is the motor, (the resolver)
    how to check the resolver
    what I can do?

    this is the date of the resolver
    brushless resolver
    type: 101-7801-8
    input 10v 8kHz

    you can ohm out each of the 3 coils in the resolver. They shouldn't be open or short. next best would be putting a meter on them and look for an AC signal when rotating the motor.

    I have reviewed the 3 colis
    red - black 30.5 ohms
    yellow - blue 30.5 ohms
    white- brown 26.9 ohms.

    but in the rotor there is another coil, this coil is damaged.

    where i can buy this resolver?

    sounds like all three coils are good. There is no way to check the rotor (that I know of). do you have AC voltage going to the resolver? and feedback when voltage when you spin the motor? The rotor may not be center on the motor shaft, this can be from bad bearings or if someone has been in the motor. The resolver on Okuma's are all the same since the first AC motors, so should be easy to get one from your local dealer.
