Swisscam-trying to follow turn on an M20

Turning a long (14"+) shaft with varying dia. Wanted to use the gang and turret simutaineously, each at a different diameter to speed things up a bit and extend the tool life a bit. after syncing the 2 processes and expecting to have 2 tool paths( one in $1 and one in $2) Partmaker gave me a combined tool path with the arguement G125 X1=X2 . it didn't run on the machine. lots of errors. I belive that this type of turning is called follow turning. Does Partmaker support this ?

Somehow you chose to "Mirror image" and that is why you got "G125"
You want to use G720/G620 to "Superimpose" the 2 dollar signs onto one another. Then you will have the code you want.

Okay. I did translate this first tool path (turret) by .268 to make the second tool path (gang). I did this in the CAD.I will try it without translating. I haven't seen any thing in Partmaker that allows me to specify G700 commands.

When you said mirror, you meant G125. I see that now. Never knew there was such a G code. I am new to this profession. The problem was that Partmaker did not start the tools an equal distance away from their start points. I positioned them at the correct points and it ran just fine. If any one could point me to a comprehensive G-code list for swiss I would sure appreciate it.
