    Mecsoft now handling support!

Great news; Mecsoft will now be handling future support and answering AlibreCam posts in their forum. This news from Alibre in email to me tonite. I think this benefits us all!

    Alibre CAM change

I saw the note yesterday and wondered what it meant. I don't use CAM* but it was apparent that the Alibre note gave no business data about Mecsoft and today I notice that neither Mecsoft nor Alibre is listed in the CAM forums.

Is there actually any useful products behind this chatter?

    Tom

    * I don't have a CNC machine and the parts I make are mostly big so machining is limited to hand operations that finish the ends or customize things like pins.

Mecsoft makes VisualMill which does have its own subforum. Its licensed to companies to integrate like AlibreCAM and RhinoCAM. I have Alibre expert w/ CAM and think the mecsoft support move is good.

Good, maybe, but years too late.
