Difference between Leadshine DM870 end EM806, and where to buy?

    Hello.
I found 2 stepper motor drivers that I am interested in. Both Digital.
The first one is Leadshine DM870 and second Leadshine EM806.
    DM870 is 7.0A and EM806 is 8.2A, bith 80V.
EM806 has stall protection, but no info about stall protection in DM870 manual.

I am trying to find out which one is better. The Leadshine DM og EM series stepper motor driver?

Someone who know the answer to that? I tried to send email to Leadshine in China, but 4 days now, and no answer.

And one more thing. I am trying to find out where to buy them in US and China?

You can get the DM870 here in the US, but it's re-badged.
Stepper motor driver Automation Technology Inc

Check ebay for chinese sellers of leadshine products.

Looks like KL-8070D is the same as DM870.
I looked at Ebay, but can't find EM806 there.
I guess I have to sent email to sellers and ask if they can get EM806, but I have to find out which one to buy.
I have read that Digital stepper drivers are much better then analog, so I want to check them and maybe replace my 4xM880's (KL-7078's).

I think DM870/EM806 will work very good together with SmoothStepper and PMDX breakout board.

It looks like EM806 is a better driver then DM870.
They have a similar performance, but because of stall protection, EM series has less chance to loose steps, as it detects lost synchronization between step motors without using encoders.

BTW ger21. Thank for asome screenset

    AM882 !

I personnally opted for LeadShine AM882, fully digital, 80V, 8.2A max, sensorless stall detection, ...
AM882 Stepper Drive - Leadshine Technology Co., Ltd.
so very similar to new EM806, and available on ebay around $110
