    hall effect home switches

    need help getting home switches to work
    the machine moves to the home switch in say z then move to y home but does not back of switches z and x are connected together. what it is doing is going to switch and stopping not backing of as it does with my other machine.
    i have reinstalled mach3, reinstalled screen set, added diodes in to make sure i get clean signals
    help please

    machine coords go 0, led green, reset does not start flashing its doing everything but not backing off on diagnostics screen the home switch led is flashing on and off it could be backing off but not far enough. its a very big machine

    Mach3 only backs off until the switch opens. If you see the LED flashing, then the switch opened. You may need to use a weaker magnet, or move it farther away.

    help

    my home switches are doing what they are meant to do but no back off.
    when trying to get to work properly z moved up zeroed ,y axis moved to home zeroed and backed off once, x went home zeroed no back off. then tried it again all axis move to home and zeroed but still not backing off.
