I bought an EZ Path I few weeks ago. 1995, with an EMI all in one board from 2003. I hooked up a null modem 9pin to the MB. Set machine to receive file. Send file from predator editor. It works, the code shows up on the machine monitor. Editor closes on my desktop pc. And….Now what? The code just stays on the screen with no way of saving it. I pressed every key on the key board nothing! The only one that works is ESC key. After hitting that the message says “communication terminated file transfer failed”. Ok,.. So I will try the 4.3 floppy drive. Format the disc and save the file as a .TXT Put it into the machine drive and the machine says disc not found. So I have no way currently to dump a program into this thing. I would like to get the RS232 files to save seeing how it will transmit to the machine. Anyone have any ideas?? I called the guy I bought it from. He said he never used rs232 or the floppy drive. Called EMI and the tech on the phone could not help me. Said it’s an old board he’s not familiar with it.

Some possibilties. Format the disc in the machine to check the machine floppy drive. The drive may be bad due to shop enviorment.
Some machines are very fussy about the extension on the file.
