    Question Arcs

    Hi guys,

I'm doing a lot of 3D Machining and the surfaces often get quite complex.
I'm using a 3-axis router and it seems to give me an error when the G-codes: G17, G18 and G19 are used.

So I normally just delete them manually from the generated G-code MasterCAM spits out an machine as normal... But the router seems to take complex turns quite slowly.

I can see that mastercam has spat out a co-ordinate for many many different points around a simpler corner, how can I get it to generate J code arcs rather than multiple points, because that's what seems to be slowing the machine down as the controller isn't that fast.

Use the "filter" ( 2D work), or the "tolerance" control ( surfacing ops)

OFF means don't fit arcs, program size will be big
    - arcs have to be enabled in the control file, they can be IJK or an R output
    - IJK output does give better toolpath control
