    Arrow slicer for mach3

Hi, with a mach3 wizzard you can transform a picture to a 3D gcode file to engrave it, only does it output a gcode that goes straight to total depth you choose.Anyone interested in a slicer, to transform this gcode into slices with depth you can choose ? I wrote the basics for a small program to do this, but need to know how you want to work with it, so I can write the apropriate screens for it.If interested, just tell me what you want to be able to do with it.

Hi, no, its the other way around.Slic3R slices from bottom to top, to print something in 3D. I slice from top to bottom, to "engrave" a 3d picture, for instance, starting on the top of a block of material, ending at the bottom. This is needed because you can't engrave in one go a depth of for instance 10 mm with a 3 mm ezngraving bit.

Have you tried the multipass wizard? It does the same thing.
