Plastic Injection Molding Machine - just $595

    Hand-Operated Plastic Injection Molding Machine
Designed for making prototypes and short-run production.

The model 20A PIM-SHOOTER™ from LNS Technologies is a unique accessory that turns any drill press into an affordable plastic injection molding machine. It operates from standard 110V ac and consumes less than 200 Watts. To maintain accurate temperature setpoints, it includes a dual display digital temperature controller with thermocouple feedback.

Despite its compact size, the model 20A is a very capable machine. The injector features a heated barrel with manual ram and a full 0.4 cubic inch resin shot capacity. It works with steel, aluminum or epoxy molds and can operate with a variety of plastic resins including - ABS, Acetal, Delrin™, LDPE, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, PVC and TPE elastomers.

When designing prototype parts, this machine can save turn-around time waiting for the parts to be made by an outside firm. Home shops or small businesses can perform short-run production utilizing low cost aluminum molds. Some typical plastic molding applications include medical device components; electrical connectors; fishing lures; model railroad parts; gun grips; toy models and figures; and robotic parts or gears.

The PIM-SHOOTER™ machine includes an accessory package that includes a pellet dispenser, purging block, safety glasses and gloves plus a sample aluminum mold and a 10 oz. supply of polypropylene pellets. Additional molds and a large variety of plastic pellets in multiple colors are available.
