Source for 26 wire ribbon cable assembly

Maybe this is a dumb question, but I'm pulling my hair out looking for a pre-made ribbon cable (with IDC connectors) that uses all 26 wires, not 25 wires. I can find 25 wire cable by the foot, but I can only find 26 wire cable in 100' spools, and I don't need 100'....or 50'....or even 5'. Specifically I'm just trying from JP33 on KStep to a breakout board in my controller box.

Buy Ribbon cable by the foot from Digikey.
Even if you have to buy wider, just strip off what you need and buy the IDC ends, very simple to apply and assemble in a small vise.

And Aren't floppy cables 26 pins with an IDC header already attached?

Hmmm...I must be going soft for not having thought of that. I have a local electronics shop that carries 30 wire ribbon cable by the foot. Done. Great idea

    Thanks.

They do, but IBM screwed it up with their stupid address swop over, a section is reversed.
