    Cambam novice question

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
Hi all, I only just downloaded the cambam software and am trying to get to gripps with it. The problem I have is as follows: I drew up a simple drawing with a few circular pockets and a small bit of text engraving; all covered with just 2 tools, no problem. generated the tool paths, again no problem and produced the gcodes without issue, a sample below:

The issue is though, that when I transferred it to our Haas mini mill, all the lines with G2 or G3 codes were somehow put inside brackets ( ) so the machine basically ignored these lines. I've tried a number of different programmes to do the transfer, incl: Cimco edit and EdytorNC. Tried using ISO, text file, options too but all the same and the maching follows the same path on all.

Anybody any ideas as to where I might be going wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    M.

If the Haas is rejecting the arc moves, then my suspicion would be that the arc center mode is incorrect.

In CamBam, under the the Machining object properties you can set Arc Center Mode to Absolute or Incremental.

Try changing this and regenerating g-code.

    Good luck!
