    First Look at CamBam's Gear Template Generator

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PENds3kUy0Y]Wooden Gears and a Stepper Motor... - YouTube[/ame]

    After a year of learning GCode by hand on my zentoolworks 7x7 I have finally upgraded to CAM software (specifically CamBam). First thing to do was to use the gear generator. Here is the result. The Bottom gear has a slight wobble as it was carved using a dremel as the spindle. That was the last of that. I upgraded the spindle to a Bosch Colt for the top gears. Much better depth per pass and zero turn out!.
    The gears are run by a stepper motor which is driven by a Phidgets stepper motor controller and some custom c#.
