    G0704 5th axis

I've been looking at Hoss's videos on the 5th axis and am thoroughly impressed and jealous.

I get how the head is attached to the "table" part of the rotary table; through the 3 bolt mod, but how is the rotary table is attached to the slide (on the column side)?

I don't recall any details of that in the videos.

4 carefully placed mounting holes and machining the flange down to fit inside the rotary.

Haha.. Clamping the head on a vise! That is brilliant, I would never have thought of that!

    Thanks Hoss.

Holding the head in the vice IS brilliant!

It would have made the assembly simpler if the rotary table had 3 T-slots instead of 4, would it not?

Did the under-side of the rotary table need to be modified much?

    Nope, not a bit.
