Looking for 3 axis CNC capable of Ti machining

Hi this is my first post here. I hope that this is the right section.

I am looking for a CNC for milling Ti. I will be milling receivers for ak variant rifles. (yes i know about the legalities do not badger me on them i live in the USA where we have a right to build semiautomatic's) So it has to have rather fine tolerances, but it does not have to be too tight. It will have to be either 3 axis or more and capable of milling hard metals like Ti or Chromoly.
    Any help would be appreciated
    Scott,
PS: I was referred here from a nice little forum called "AK Files".

I do not think you will find any specialty titanium milling machines. Almost any decent machine can do this type of work. If have never had any difficulty machining titanium. Just use recommended speeds, feeds and depths of cut to start.

You will need something a little more rigid than a typical benchtop mill. Maybe find a used hurco hawk, or tree journeyman or something in that range. What price point are you looking for?

Hi, sorry for not replying for a while I kind of gave up hope after the first few weeks with no reply's.

To get to the point though I have a good budget. I mostly want to pay for a machine that will do what I need it to, and preferable one that gives me the least headaches and hassle.

I am looking at Tormach's PCNC 1100. Any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

The approximate dimensions of an AK receiver is 11.5" * 1.75" * 1.25".

One thing I have to take into consideration though as far as travel goes on the cnc is that you have to cut a hole in the front trunnion (mounting block that holds the barrel into the receiver, and allows the bolt to lock into place) and cut a hole in the back end of the receiver to mount a stock.

If you think you found a cnc that could do this and is rather sturdy please either post it here or send me a pm.
