    Okuma MC4VA Wiring Question

The nameplate on my MC4VA says a max draw of 75 amps. I assume this is at the lowest voltage of 220V. I will be running the machine on 480V and am trying to dertrmine the size wire and breaker i will need. 75amps at 220V calculates to be 34.35 amps at 480V. Should I size my wire and breaker for the 34 amp draw that I calculated?

I'll suggest simple. Check Okuma's main breaker terminals, what ferrule fits in. Then check the copper wire, the one what fits to the ferrule. This will be a step or two steps smaller, than Okuma recommends. Will work for years, sure.
