    Build research?

I would like to be able to add a trunion table to my build. I won't use this often but want the feature. I don't want a huge z azis to accomadate the extra height so I thought of being able to lower the table height in the middle by removing the deck and bolting the table to a lower frame?
Problem is if I build a gantry with a cross beam it will make contact with the lowered trunion table.
The fix would be building with two actuators on the X axis?
How do you control the servos to run exactly in sinc? so it doesn't jam?
    Is there a better way?

Thanks! Great board lots of info!! I feel like a sponge!

The controller software takes care of the sync.
