    Profile set up

Can two profiles be set up, One for mm and one for inches and them not interfere with each other.

    Thanks

    As Gerry says, YES.

Use the loader, and clone your profile giving it a sensible name.
Now change the settings after loading with the new profile, and exit Mach3 (easiest way to ensure the new setup is saved)
Use the loader to start mach3 and select the profile you want.
Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

You can also create desktop Shortcuts that point to the different profiles.
Just set the Target in the shortcut to C:\Mach3\Mach3.exe /p profilename where your profile is stored in profilename.xml

With desktop shortcuts you can assign hot keys.
    Ctrl-alt-I for imperial.
    Ctrl-alt-M for metric.
That's for people, like me, who use the mouse as little as possible.
