Hi,

Does anyone know where to buy and/or how to replace the encoder on the Z axis motor of a DMU80 CNC? It could also be a shop that could do that quick in Canada (or the US)? I ask because we were told that a new (or rebuilt unit) would not be available until Febuary...

The motor is the Heidenhain QSY 190F (Id. Nr. 388 244-84) with the encoder ECN 1313 (ECN 1313 2048 628S12-78 Id. Nr. 312 212-03).

The Heidenhain (Traunreut, Germany) service acknowledged the date of February?
Although a little more expensive will be the transport (approximately 51 kg weight of the motor).

Are you sure the motor is bad?
What is the error message?
Cable is good?
Encoder interface on the controller right?
