    Is there any way to....

I did use the search tab before posting this and didn't find anything on it, so sorry ahead of time if this happens to be a repost.

I was wondering if a Haas VF2 has the capability of over-riding the speeds and feeds in either real time, before or after the operation is finished. (kind of how Mazak does)

I was trying to save quite a bit of time of having write it down, then go back and hand-edit and/or re-post the whole program.

    Thanks,

What you mean is "overwrite". No, Haas does not offer this function. Why do you find it so difficult to edit your programs?

yes you can override feed and spindle speeds
even incorporate the changes to the program
page 56 of the haas 96-8000 manual will describe program optimizing.

Guess you are not familiar with this feature on Mazak.
