Hey guys I am stuck with this problem of not being able to get my VMC to communicate with the PC for DNC.

I have OneCNC-DNC free software and I keep getting a parity error on the Fadal control. My Fadal control is a 1994 CNC88HS.

My Port settings are:
Baud rate:9600
Data bits: 7
Parity: even
Stop bits: 1
XON/XOFF: enabled
DTR/DSR: disabled
RTS/CTS: disabled

The Program has 12,354 lines but I cannot even get it started. Do I just type DNC at the prompt or DNC,0,1,0,1 to activate the correct DNC mode?

I was able to start the DNC

I initially set the control to CD,10 for the (38,400), then at Manual prompt I entered DNC 0,1,0,1

At the OneCNC-DNC software I aet the com port 1 to:
Baud: 38400
Data bits: 7
Parity: even
Stop bits: 1
XON/XOFF: enabled
DTR/DSR: enabled
RTS/CTS: enabled
100 MS delay

The machine showed a Waiting prompt. I hit the green button and it was running line by line from the computer.

Very excited!!!
