I am having trouble with a poor finish when I generate a tool path from a solid works model. I can send the solid works model to anyone who can help.

settings are:
planer tool path
0.25 tool dia
ball
using tool tip
.007 step over
tool angle 0
tolerance 0.0003
min line length 0.0003

tightening the tolerance and line length has helped but I am still not happy with the finish. If you back plot the file and look at the area around X-3.1234 Y-0.149 you will see the problems. I hope I uploaded the file properly, thank you everyone

Keep tightening up on the Tolerance setting.
I remember using .0001" or even .00005" to address this very problem.
It's going to bloat the code....

No need to mess with Min. Line Length.

Are you talking about the tolerance on the cad side? Or the cam side? Or in the optional fields that you fill in as you are creating the tool path?
