I have recently purchased Bridgeport Interact 1 mk2 (Heidenhain TNC 2500).
without the Maintenance ore Operating Manual. I have never worked on a Commercial CNC Milling Machine and need to ask some question.
- "gross over reference point" what does that mean?
- should the Machine Reference automatically when switched on?
- how can i reference the Machine Manually?

The machine does not reference automatically when switched on.
You need to pull out the e-stop buttons.
Press the control on button
Press the CE button to get to the reference page.
See how that goes first then come back,but look on this site for the Bridgeport forum and post there as more Bridgeport guys will see it.

I know this has been covered before in this Forum put could not find the answer i am looking for.
I get the error "gross positioning error Z C"
Pressing Button Cycle start displays a about 20 long numbers after the error message.
changing the parameter 1140 to the max of 10 displays the message "pass over reference point"
Pressing now Cycle start will not display these long numbers and machine still don't reference.
Is it possible to change some parameters to test, instead of changing Motors around as suggested in this forum.
Those anyone know how to move this tread to the Bridgeport forum?
