Hi All,
Can anyone help?, I have a Huanyang 7.5kw 220 volt 34A Vfd, The Vfd is powering a 4kw 3-phase motor:
Motor Type: ABB 2-pole, 50/60 hz, 4/4.6kw 2860/3460 rpm.
The motor is wired in a Delta config, the Vfd is 240 volt input.
Everything works as it should, but at low rpm (500 rpm) there is a loss of torque? so much so that I am able to stop the spindle of the motor with my hand?.
The only way I seem to be able to get over the problem is to alter PD04 (Base Frequency) to a lower figure of 30hz?, I am a little unsure of this as the manual states that the base frequency should match what is on the motor plate (50/60 hz)
Thanks for any help.
