    roboform c axis

C axis is giving me problems, have had numerous errors, have run auto diagnostics and show no errors,(short test and long tests) c motor tries to turn c axis but acts like its locked, have tried unlock commands with no luck. switched drive cards around and can get it to move around 300 deg then it stops and error message, e624 or e623. when switch cards it disables other axis, wouldnt diagnostics show this as a bad board? would like to get c axis to move manually so I can use machine but cannot get brake to let go, anyone have any ideas? possible encoder on c axis ? any repair techs out there? charmilles suggest possible encoder cable break,or bad encoder? assume auto diagnostics would rule out bad board. checked voltage coming from board to c axis brake but have none either switched lock or unlock. keep coming back to bad board?

    Re: roboform c axis

Did you fix it? The problem was the encoder or the Pcb?
    Thank you!
