I am French , so sorry for my English.

I'am manufacturer of sign and I search function in Vectric.

I want to automatically trace the middle of a text or letter and I would like to export in eps or dxf.

I currently use the pen to draw the middle of a letter, but it's very too long

An example in the attached file, the middle of the text is blue

Do you know a other software that can do this function?

Vectrics Vcarve text routine has sigle line fonts that you can profile carve to the depth you would like or export to DXF. Or you can do a regular Vcarve routine.

but how to export the line in the middle eps, as I can not to select and when I export the middle line don't appear.

You don't trace the middle of the letter. Highlight the single line font, then do a, File, export, to eps. See the help menu

I thought you were talking about the Vectrics products! Can't help you with Illustrator.

It does not matter, I spoke well of a function on Vectric,

because this function is not disponible on illusrator.

and if I want this feature is disponible on Vectric and then exported to Illustrator

i attaching a postprocessor.. this is the dxf postprocessor..

before start program, find the folder that contain postprocessors..
copy this dxf.pp there.


file is dxf.txt you need to rename to dxf.pp forum dont let upload pp extension..

start program and make toolpath

save toolpath, and set this postprocessor
