I have a Bridgeport series 1 R2E4 with Powertron servos and bei encoders I recently purchased a viper 200 drive and have been scratching my head as to how to connect it to the existing wiring going to the servos. I was wondering if someone had a wiring diagram that shows how they are wired there seems to be a lot of wires coming out of the cables comeing into the cabinett.

What controller do you have and are you replacing it with a step/dir control?
If so it should be relatively easy to reverse engineer, the motor tach leads are not required, that leaves 2 conductors for motor power, and the BEI encoder connections are available on the net.

Thank You AL. for some reason the zone is not notifying me when a reply is posted. yes the question was about the encoder I am trying to hook the BEI encoders to a Larkin Viper 200F and the mill was wired to use all the optional features of the encoder ( too many wires) I have a bunch of info from BEI the day I was tearing into it I was called away and did not get back to it. maybe this weekend.
