I purchased a Tree Journeyman knee mill. It ran fine when I looked at it. When I got it home and put power to it I get a msg that says there is no power to the axis.

Could this be caused by the z axis hitting the limit switch during the move? I can't find anyone here in Boise to help.

Yes it can be. J425? should be a cap you remove behind the quill to stick a screwdriver in and turn the screw by hand.

I got it working. I didn't find the screw driver access however, once I got a look at it I could see it was at the hard limit. I moved the belt and backed it off. Everything works now and it runs great. Thanks for the info.
