Cant seem to get forward and reverse signal from my KMB-1 to my relays for VFD

    HI,

SO I can't seem to get my KMB-1 to output the different signal to the relays that run my vfd.

As it was hooked up when I bought it...

    Mill TB2 term 7 fwd
    TB2 Term 9 rev
TB2 Term 8 ground signal from J4 term 14 from Z axis board

TB2 7 & 9 go to ice cube relays that give me a dry contact to switch my VFD into fdw or rev mode.

Is TB2 #7 only a momentary signal or should it stay on all the time?

I would think that TB 2 7 & 9 should be switching the ground signal from J4 #14 so I can get + or - rpm from the spindle. so far no luck it just seems to always driver TB2 Term 7 (Fwd)

    THanks...

    God bless...

Hi, so does anyone have a schematic/ description of what each of the relays on that relay board with all the "Ice cube" relays do?

    THanks

    God bless...

    Mark,
I'm not sure how much it will help you, but, here is a link to what I did to make my KM-3 work with a VFD. It includes step by step instructions and schematics.
