Hello,

We at our shop are having a problem getting a straight answer with our steel supply company's when it comes to Rockwell Hardness testing.

We are trying to find some 4140/4150 PH that test in the RC of 40-45. Our mills are telling us that it only should test in the range of 32-36 RC.
Could someone please inform me on what material we need to order to get the correct stuff.
