    Mazak Slant turn

    Hi all,

We have a slant turn 35n (T32-3 control) that is suddenly misbehaving.
We can run it in spindle mode just fine but after using the driven tooling when we try to switch the spindle axis mode off it will not disengage and stays stuck with the spindle axis light flashing.

We can get it back to 'turning mode' by removing the bracket with the two roller switches on (attached to the spindle axis 'stepper' motor gearbox) and pressing the spindle switch, this then forces the machine to activate the piston that disengages the spindle axis motor and re-engage the main motor.

The valve for the hydraulic piston & the switches all work (not stuck open or closed), but for some reason it won't switch back by itself any more without us messing with it like this.

Hope that makes sense, it sort of did as I typed it!

    Many thanks.

    Dave.

    Re: Mazak Slant turn

Have you already solved that problem because I have a similar problem like yours but the c axis hidraulic piston that clamps the motor, for some reason it wont return to the unclamp position when i orient the spindle and I dont know where the problems comes from. Need Help.
