    Tool Carousel Positioning

How do I add a line to my post that will add a T# so the tool changer stages the next tool in the carousel?

This is for a HAAS VF2ss.

    My code is..

    N1 G0 G17 G40 G49 G53 G80 G90 Z0
    M6 T1
    G54 X0 Y0 M3 S2000
    G43 H1 Z.1
    /M8
T2 <<<<<< I'd like to add a T# here to stage the next tool.

It is in the control definition. Enable staged tool. Then you can edit the post to put the staged tool on the line you want it.

That was painless. Why didn't I ask this earlier? Thanks!

Judging by reactions in other threads, you would think I was answering questions with a 8 pound sledge between their eyes.

I was adding those damn T numbers manually...that just saved me a lot of time.

Now, how do I set defaults...ie coolant on, clearance plane, etc.

I'm getting there....I just need to learn to be more efficient.

You will have to edit the operation defaults in the control definition.
