Gross positioning error A and D caused by Z axis, Interact 1 mk2 Tnc 151B

The machine is a Bridgeport Interact 1 mk 2 with a TNC 151B control. During the reference cycle the control will fault on the Z axis, displaying either a Gross position error A (most of the time) or Gross position error D. I need a check on the machine Parameters. These are the MP's

    MP 54: 0,200
    MP 55: 0,200
    MP 56: 3,000
    MP 57: 2,000
    MP 174: 10,000
    MP 175: 15,000
    MP 176: 1000
    MP 234: 2,000

Could it also be an error based on the Offset on the Servo Drives?
    Any help is greatly Appreciated!

    Thanks in Advance

Sure it is not a problem due to intermittent encoder/motor cables?

have you looked in the heidenhain parameter thread to see if your machine parameter are there?

In my haste i had forgot to mention, my machine was an interact 1 mk 2 with a tnc 2500 control that was missing. I have rewired everything to drawing number 879-121 and all of the external hardware works. I have assumed the machine to be not working from the previous owner and have tested all of the major components. The servo drives are all set for the TNC2500 control, that is the current limit pot, tacho feedback and offset will have to be reset for this control. I will need the maintenance manual for that.

I have changed Mp 59 to 0 altering the reference cycle and determined that it would have to be a setting in the machine parameters. If I understand this correctly that each one of the servo drives is a closed loop, and would require the same error on each drive.

Anyone have a copy of the maintenance manual or the procedure for setting the servo drives. I have the one for the TNC 2500 and its only a partial help here.

    Thanks
