    Router for homemade CNC

Hello to all. I am from Croatia. I'm new here and CNC tehnology is new to me. I was creating things from wood - hand made.(mahagony, teak, etc.)
I have started to build CNC which will help me a lot.
So far I have managed to weld table (140 cm x 70 cm) from 2,5x2,5 cm iron cube pipes. For rolling system I have used 608 bearings and aluminium pipes (2cm x 2cm x 25 cm (wall 2 mm)) rolling on stainless steel cube pipes (2,5 x 2,5 cm (wall 2 mm)). Y axis (support and construction) is welded from iron cube pipes (2,5 x 2,5 cm) and track is made from cube stainless steel pipes. Bearing system like for X.

Now I am in situation that I must design Z axis but I need to have dimensions of a router. I hope I will achive CNC to have X120, Y50 and Z15 cm working area.
CNC will cut wood like I said (mahagony, teak, laminated wood and so.). All parts are designed from iron and stainless steel except bearing system.

Can you please advise me which router should i buy for this purpose? Inexpensive ones have the advantage. (220 V, 50 Hz Eurpean standard) Some e-bay links or other web shops?

    Thank you in advance.
    P.S.
I hope you will be able to understand my english.

I have looked on ebay this Kress router and it is around 250 - 300 $. I think it is good price. Reading specs it looks like a great router.

I have also look at these two from Bosch and Makita:

PR20EVSK Colt? Variable-speed Palm Router Kit | Bosch

    Ru?na glodalica 3707 - Trgova?ki centar Ponuda

    Any opinion about?
    Thank you.

I have the Bosch Colt variable speed and absolutely love it. I mostly use it to cut aluminum sheet metal 0.080" thick. I have not tried it on wood yet. One thing that is important to me is noise. This one is very quiet compared to others of similar hp rating.

And yes, less noise is better.

    P.S.
    Is that Bosch 600 or 1400 W?

Hi. Do you sell only complete machines or parts also? Because, I need only router (milling cutter). Routers like from the earlier posts. Bosch, Makita, Kress... If you have some interesting routers please post.

Than you but I am working on homemade CNC (X120 cm, Y50 cm and Z15 cm).
I am looking only for milling router. If somebody will ask for small CNC I will recommend you.

So far I think router "Makita RT0700C" will be my choice.

    BR,
    Marko
