Nylon printing, when is it coming? reviews?

I have been watching the Taulman 618 nylon material closely... wondering who is experimenting with it and what results you can report.

To me the mechanical properties seem WAY better than the standard ABS or PLA.

Is this nylon safe to do in a home setting since you need to run it so hot to melt it, does it off gas harmful fumes?

The nylon works great, when you print it on garolite. You can see photos of it here:

    Aleph Objects, Inc.

You can check taulman3d.com for info about fumes. In sum, it is fine.

We print at 238C with a Budaschnozzle.
