We recently purchased a 1994 Mazak SQT 15M with a mazatrol T+ controller.
I am looking for the simplest way to upload and download programs.
Can anyone help me with this?
I spoke with Mazak applications and man in technical help told me that simple DNC software is adequate for this but as I read some of the older threads in this site... I am now a little confused.
Will simple DNC software do the job? and if so, can anyone recommend a particular software that is proven to work for this controller?

We use a software called Camlink to save all our programs to a computer and also to download them to the machines. This works for every mazak we own, which include two mazak vtc-20b mills, an integrex with the fusion control, three 10m plus controls, two Qt-8n controls, etc. Only limitations are that you can't take a tplus program and put it on an older control, or a mill to a lathe control obviously. However we can put the 8n programs onto the tplus seamlessly. Never had a single issue and it works pretty fast too. Another useful software is griffo brothers, which allows you to view the mazatrol programs on a computer and print them out onto paper, which is useful for when your programs can't be transferred to an inferior control.
