I have a laser, to do this with a mirror you are engraving on the back of the mirror correct ? Do you have to treat it or spray it with anything ? Thank you. New to engraving.

Yes, on the back (be sure to flip your image). I usually spray a clear coat (polyurethane or lacquer) after engraving. Use care to not wipe the back after engraving and before clear coating,

I should have been more clear with my questions. Duhh had a long night with trying to learn how to use this machine. Prior to engraving on the back of the Mirror do I need to spray cermark on there or anything else ?

No, the laser should burn through the coating and remove the silvering.

Also keep in mind the laser powers needs to be reversed. White shades need to burn at a higher power level because it will show whiter on the reverse side, where the darker shades will be more the mirror reflections that appear darker.

Thank you for your response Citrusguy, Not sure I am ready to take the leap, Have only had my machine for 2 weeks..lol. Jeffery926 is your response following up Citrusguy's response to me ? If so I have no idea what that means, laser powers needs to be reversed. I don't have a clue how to do that either. Ohhhh, I have so much to learn so overwhelming. Thanks to you both for your responses. Have a Fabulous weekend.
